Medication Management at NECBT

I-CBT, combined with medication, can help get patients back on track.
Here at NECBT, we consider ourselves a therapy-focused organization. In most cases, we would prefer to approach Mental Health without the use of pharmaceuticals. However, we do understand that at times medication is necessary for individual patients, depending on the nature and the severity of their condition. With this in mind, we offer a Medication Management program that is in line with our philosophy: Medication only when absolutely necessary.

Currently, our Medication Management team is comprised of Dr. Sunanda Muralee and Darlene Przasnyski, APRN. Dr. Muralee works with all age groups, but specializes in working with children and adolescents. She is well-versed in treating individuals with ADHD and those who are Mild to Moderate on the Autism Spectrum. Ms. Przasnyski is a certified Psychiatric APRN who is also certified to work specifically with children and adolescents. She has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages living with a variety of Mental Health disorders and their related symptoms.

At NECBT we are proud to offer Medication Management for our patients who are also participating in I-CBT treatment. Currently, we can only accommodate those patients who are within our facility. However, we are hoping, in time, to expand our medical services.

In regards to billing and costs associated with NECBT’s Medication Management, we currently accept Medicaid A-D, Tricare, and Anthem. However, we are always working on paneling for new insurances, and encourage patients to check in with us when making their first appointment in order to ensure that they know all of their available options.

Otherwise, fees are out of pocket. We accept Mastercard, Visa, and H.S.A. accounts.

Fees associated with NECBT’s Medication Management program are as follows:
·         Assessment Fee is $175.00
·         Medication Management Appointment Fee is $115.00
·         Additional paperwork, such as letters for the court system or additional work to coordinate care outside of the practice costs $150.00/hour. (This fee is prorated.)

NECBT may offer a sliding scale for certain fees depending on individual circumstances.
